A new voice for Amherst & Bedford

I am excited to announce my candidacy for State Representative in District 41, Bedford & Amherst, NH.

I have lived in Bedford for 19 years and raised my four children here. For the last twelve years I have been involved in the community through various organizations such as the Parent Teacher Group, Stand By Me and Taxpayers for Quality Education. I have taught religious education classes at St. Elizabeth Seton and have coached numerous teams from Girls on the Run to t-ball, baseball, basketball and soccer. I am proud to have been nominated twice by the Bedford School District leadership team as a local “Champion for Children” which recognizes outstanding New Hampshire citizens who have given distinguished voluntary public service to benefit children in our communities.

Now that my children are getting older, I think it’s the right time to take my enthusiasm and engagement in my community to the next level as an active, representative voice in Concord. I am proud to live in the Amherst/Bedford area where our community supports a strong public education system, where small business flourishes, where hard working families have chosen to raise their families, where sustainability and a healthy environment are important, and where there is a commitment to finding common ground and creative solutions to local issues.

I am: an open minded independent thinker, fiscally responsible, a moderate who is able to listen to and respect differing opinions, engage various stakeholders, and is willing to work FOR and WITH the people of Amherst, Bedford, and New Hampshire.
